What a start to 2015 – taking a 9 day break from Botox injections
A trip to New Zealand
We visited with a tour group – a bunch of students with teachers studying nature and how it affects our human bodies and lives – a relationship to energy healing such as acupuncture.
We visited both North and South Islands and we were there for about 7 days.
You can click on the pictures below to see the larger version of the picture.
One of the most important parts of this trip was lessons and lectures about healing, health, purpose, and how it relates to observations in nature
Lectures late into the night.
Lectures and lessons out in the open – one with nature.

Lessons along a path. Perhaps a path in life? Here we see a rock representing Yang and Yin. This is much of how our bodies work as well as how the universe operates.

New Zealand Sights starting with Christchurch
Christchurch mural of woman on the wall. Her pupils have different colors. I almost thought it was a Botox commercial – no wrinkles!
Morning Qi-Gong Exercise in Christchurch

This appears to be an auditorium. This is the view from our first restaurant in New Zealand: Coriander – an Indian restaurant.
Christchurch Avon River – Punting
Lots of vegan choices in our Novotel Hotel in Christchurch
Christchurch Lululemon everywhere – even in New Zealand. Yep, that’s Dr. Tammy Wu inside the store.
Mirror Lake Te Anau
Between the mountains near Lake Te Anau
Moeraki Boulders. 60 million years old. Some think these are fossilized dinosaur eggs.
Mount Cook – my favorite part of the New Zealand trip
Kea point trail, Mount Cook. I like how this path is off to the side and it looks like it leads right into that snow capped mountain.
Aoraki Mount Cook – at Kea point after a hike which was about 1.75 miles from the Hermitage Hotel to this point.
On the Kea point trail in the Aoraki Mount Cook Region of New Zealand.
Dr. Tammy Wu and I ate breakfast at Kea point, Aoraki Mount Cook, New Zealand. Kea point was the end of the Kea point trail. That’s a glacier in the background.
“Look, I’m a pyramid.”

Flying and walking like a penguin…
A medicine comes from this plant. I found this plant growing wild all by itself on the side of the mountain. The medicine is not Botox. It is a heart medicine.
We made it to the top! Well, just our logo made it to the top of the mountain.
Penguin Place Dunedin, New Zealand. A place to see Yellow Eyed Penguins
A rare bird – yellow eyed penguin.
Penguin Place in New Zealand. Yellow eyed Penguins. The pups are the furry ones.
Penguin Video which I took and placed on YouTube:
Carvin / Calvin – close enough. This was in the city of Gore.
Even more important than Botox for preventing wrinkles would be sun protection! Notice the hat!
We sell Sigvaris compression socks in Modesto, just like they do in New Zealand – it helps to prevent deep vein thrombosis
Alternative medicine in a New Zealand pharmacy
Hot Springs. The different colors of the earth are the result of different mineral concentrations.

California Sequoia trees in New Zealand

I saw this bottle line up near the garbage area of a New Zealand restaurant. Nope these are not empty Botox bottles.
These are kind of like the pampus grass we have here in California.
Bungee jumping originated off this river and this very location in New Zealand
Dr. Wu and her little lamb. We witnessed a lady feed a sheep with her bare hand. As the sheep licked her hand, she said “this is yucky!” Then she proceeded to wipe her hand clean on the torso of the sheep. Great use of wool. We’re just glad Dr. Tammy Wu didn’t get her plastic surgery fingers bitten.

I figured it’s time to start a new Modesto Botox Babble collection of topics. I wanted to start fresh, so I started this new blog.
Previous Botox Blog is located at this link. New Modesto Botox Blog for 2015
This new Modesto Botox Blog is written on a WordPress platform with the 2015 theme.
The home page for this new Modesto Botox Blog is this link. And to make things a bit different, this blog would have a static front page. And the most recent Modesto Botox blog postings would be on a different page – entitled “Modesto Botox current topics.” Purple – the color of Botox?
I chose some purple to highlight this blog because much of the Botox marketing material and the Botox packaging comes with the color purple on it. It might not make much sense to anyone else except to other Botox injectors.
Capitalization of the word BOTOX?
Technically BOTOX (R) is all capital letters. But it sometimes looks like yelling, so I won’t capitalize it all the time.
